THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO A PRODUCTIVE WORKSPACE SET UP

MYOB MEMBER ONLY EXCLUSIVE

1. The desk and Chair

  • Make sure that the desk is big enough for you to keep your essentials

  • Choose a colour which is right for you; I personally prefer white desks.

  • Sturdy enough to support the weight of your stuff

  • Chair- Comfy enough but not too much.

2. Location and Lighting

  • Position your desk in such a way that you get proper lighting.

  • Or use a study lamp(Stay tuned for the study essentials blog to find out which Lamp I use)

  • Have switches and connections nearby to plug your devices.

Now the actual set up

  • Have minimal stationary on your desk- This depends on the size of your desk.

  • Always have a bottle of water on your desk

  • Don’t have too many devices on your desk, this can increase your stimulus which can result in loss of focus.

  • If you like to munch on something while studying, keep a small container of dry fruits, gum etc on your desk.

Aesthetics

  • Arrange your stationary well

  • Keep a candle(this can also help with focus)

  • Desk clock

  • A small soft toy or keychain

Keep in mind

  • Have a designated place where you study so that your brain subconsciously knows that at your desk you have to study.

  • Don’t have your phone nearby

  • Avoid over-decorating it.

  • Empty and sanitize your desk at the end of the day to keep it nice and clean.

  • And lastly it’s your study space so organize it according to you and have fun with it.

That is it for this blog, if this was helpful please send a review for it at myob.committee@gmail.com. We would really appreciate it.
